Heated/Unheated Vinyasa is an energetic yoga style fluidly moving you from one pose to the next with a focus on connecting breath to movement. This type of yoga makes for a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical asana practice. We have heated, unheated and moderately heated vinyasa classes. See live schedule of each class for more details.
Hot Fusion combines the therapeutic and heightened focus of traditional hot yoga with power vinyasa flow (99-105 degrees). Combining standard hot yoga with vinyasa, assists students in performing more strenuous maneuvers, thereby building more durability and strength.
Restorative Yoga allows the practitioner to rest deeply and completely. Using lots of props and breath, the goal is complete surrender of tension in the body. Through this meditative practice, space is made for releasing tension in the mind. It is slow-paced and works to release deeply and passively, without active stretch. Restorative Yoga can be highly beneficial to speed up the healing process of the body after injury or prolonged inactivity. By gently moving the body, and supporting it comfortably in various asanas, Restorative Yoga helps to increase blood circulation, detoxification and prevent the formation of excessive scar tissue. This class is unheated.
Slow Flow is a mix of yin and slow vinyasa bringing strength to the body while mindfully growing your practice one building block at a time. This is an unheated class with an extra five minutes for a full savasana.
Unheated Beginner Yoga is an entry level class targeting alignment, yoga concepts and philosophy. This class is accessible and beneficial for practitioners of all levels. It takes students back to the basics of the practice and builds the asanas from the ground up.
Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with lengthy posture holds and targeted stretching for restorative benefit. Students use the assistance of props (blankets, blocks, bolsters) to open up deep, dense connective tissues and joints in the body while focusing on breath and relaxation. Because of its mental and physical demand, Yin Yoga can feel at times more challenging than all other yoga styles. This is an unheated class.
Yoga Sculpt is a high-energy, robust practice that incorporates body weight and free weight training into vinyasa yoga sequences. This class is formulated to work all major muscle groups, simultaneously training cardiovascular strength, agility and muscle development. Music driven, yoga sculpt combines the postures of traditional yoga with a modern plyometric workout designed for challenging your mental and physical fortitude. This is a heated class. Room temperature ranges between 90-95 degrees.
PILATES/YOGALATES!
Heated Pilates is a low-impact, high-intensity workout performed in a warm room (85-90 degrees). The Pilates technique was created to address the ill effects of the "modern" life-style. Joseph Pilates believed that bad posture and inefficient breathing lay at the roots of poor health. He devised a series of exercises and training techniques to heal injuries without stressing the joints. This class will incorporate his techniques along with HIIT(High-Intensity Interval Training) without jumping for cardiovascular strength. You can expect a full body Pilates mat work-out that hits muscles you didn't even know you had. Mayu Halgren, certified Pilates instructor, will lead you through this class. You will use muscles you didn't even know you had!
Heated Yogalates is a beautiful blend of Yoga and mat Pilates. It includes the stretching, asana and mindfulness breathing of yoga, but blends it with the core-building strength, posture awareness and muscle activation of Pilates. This is an exercise method that is adaptable for a wide variety of fitness levels. This is a heated class ranging from 95-98 degrees
